  1. Extremely interesting as I have entertained growing both of these and have been hesitant. Will now try them. Thank you.

  2. My fellow gin lover. Make a ginger cordial (simple syrup) for cocktails like the Penny drop!

  3. Erin, Turmeric is good in juices or smoothies. I drink Turmeric (1/4 t), 1/4 t coconut oil and a big dash of ground black pepper in warm water. It's a good cure for lowering cholesterol, relieving pain and many other remedies. This video was very helpful. 🍃 🍂 ☘️ 🍁 🍀

  4. I just watched an older video on making Keto Bone Broth. She used a cup of chopped up ginger and a cup of chopped up turmeric. Never heard of that before. Good info on growing both of these in Wisconsin. Thanks

  5. Hi Erin you can make some herbal tea and use it for mrdicine. Both but especially the ginger…it goes well with other herbs for tea and even in regular black ar green tea. There is all kinds of things on youtube about ginger and it uses. Have fun experimenting wirh it.

  6. Ginger and turmeric was so easy to grow when I lived in Florida, just place it in the garden and come winter you had a nice size clump to uproot. I'm now in New Hampshire and about to try out a few different ways. I don't mind starting early since I have a grow tent in the basement. Thank you for sharing your experience.

  7. So glad I can keep turmeric in the ground year around. When I harvest I turn around and replant the plant – keeping all my fingers as harvest.
I grow it and sale local and online. The flowers are occasional – not expected to get blooms.
If you are growing for the leaves – grow black turmeric. The leaves have a dark streak.

  8. Hi- I thought the end blog of kitty 🐈 & your pup was adorable ☺️💙💖! I loved it!❣️

  9. It’s been the best fall I can remember. I’d say a month and a half of nice weather. Comes to an end this weekend but it was a good, long run!

    FERGUS 😻😻😻

  10. I grew ginger in WI for the first time this year. I started mine from root in a pot. I was amazed at my success.
