I love those baskets, but they don't hold all that well, I had one, handle broke. Hate to throw plastic stuff away. The dippers are too cute!!! But I have an ancient pot I use. You have the best ideas though!!!

I got the exact kind but a lot bigger . I drilled drain holes , filled with the compost in place method and everything is growing great .
Love finding great deals at the dollar store and dollar tree or on clearance in other places

Robbie, the solar fountain kits you linked don't ship to Canada (and one of the two is out-of-stock).
I found the specs, and would like to suggest that you list those details for people who can't get exact kits you link, but would like a better guide than price, when looking for a substitute.
One of them specified that it has a 1.2 watt solar panel, and 1.1 watt pump, that delivers up to 180 liters/hr (that's about 47.5 GpH).
The other specified that it has a 1.5 watt solar panel, with a 1.4 watt pump, that delivers up to 190 liters/hr (that's about 50 GpH).
