Dude, Thomas Bryant barely got any minutes in the preseason, and one of the two games when he did he had like 18 and 10.
Been telling you before the season starts, transition is the key to the Disney Ring, even if there's no shooting. Now they found success through fastbreak, they limit 3s, and now getting better rebounding. They don't need to become like GSW, because the personel ain't right, just maximize what's they're good at.
With the now "found identity", how about bringing back Melo? Last season didn't work because maybe they didn't know who they were. Maybe this time Melo might work with Russ leading the 2nd unit? But i wonder if Melo's still keeping himself ready. Just my thoughts.
I appreciate wgat Russ is doing but Dennis will do the same thing off the bench that he's doing. And for alot less money. Still need to be looking for a russ trade.
I feel like if they could get a great shooter around the perimeter and a defender inside to help take weight off of A.D's back without taking away important pieces that would be ideal.

We've had lots of talk about adding depth at Center, possibly through a Turner/Hield trade – but are we forgetting Thomas Bryant here? I think it's clear that Damian Jones hasn't lived up to (Trevor's) hype, but if Bryant can play anywhere near the level we saw pre-ACL, he has to be worth giving minutes to, and Wenyen Gabriel has fit really well with the up-tempo second unit.
Is it possible that we're looking at a scenario here where Russ isn't traded (granted, we've only seen a couple of games off the bench, so it's a small sample size) and the Lakers move some other pieces after Thanksgiving to try to acquire more shooting?
We're forgetting that Dennis averaged comparable numbers to Russ's when he got 6th man of the year in OKC
Westbrook was visually and audibly upset and to be honest, he had a right to be. For a lot of reasons at this point.
Without Westbrook in the game for the past two wins they would have been losses.

We went from dragging Russ through the mud speaking of Trevor and most guests on Lakers Nation and now he is gonna win 6th man of the year and we don’t need to continue to try and shop him…Cmon man. Crowder for 2 2nd rd picks and Nunn ? Keep Westbrook and the 1st rd pick up a sf 3& D in Crowder. Nunn played well in preseason he's a good pg Pho. might be a better fit.
Lakers need to accept the fact that their team is trash. LeBron is past his prime. You have to trade away all three to get future draft picks because the Pelicans took all of your picks.
