    I prefer wood mulch. It breaks down and perennial plants really take off after time.
    I moved to a foreclosure when widowed and had 10 cubic yards of rocks many over 6 inches down. Couldn't do a thing with rocks so spent 3 summers removing them and found suckers on Craigslist to take them. Moved yet again as neighborhood went ghetto. Was a nice house and paid off. Grr.
