  1. I use logs from trees I cleared as parameter on my beds also, I appreciate seeing others do it also. I also have a lemon, orange and lime tree but there are challenges in northern Illinois growing these trees because they have to come inside for the winter. Blessings

  2. Great advice on Lots of subjects ~ however seems like you're advocating it to be harmless to drink municipal water ( no mention of filtering ) ~ if thats the case i would be alarmed & surprised at that โ—

  3. Thank you. Very interesting information. You have a magnificent garden. Thanks for teaching us how to get better results. From Sydney Australia.

  4. Interesting idea, but if the barrel is sitting out in the middle of your garden, how are you going to accumulate enough rainwater to fill it? Youโ€™re still going to need to use the hose and city water to fill the rain barrel, at which point you might as well just water your garden with the hose. I donโ€™t think thereโ€™s that much chlorine and chloramines in the water to be detrimental to the plants. After all weโ€™re constantly drinking them. The vitamin C tip, however, sounds brilliant. Thank you.

  6. never never never leave a barrel or other container of water out in the open without a LID or something to cover the opening; animals and birds can and do fall in, unable to climb out, and DROWN. It helps to keep the barrel full to the top as well.

  7. Mallow root is the main ingredient when I make cough syrup, very soothing. I'm going to try the leaves in a soup this spring. Thank you for your abundant videos! ๐ŸŒป

  8. Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I hope you had a great Christmas and happy New Year. Thank you from far East Texas near the Louisiana border.

  9. Hi, I am so happy I found your channel. I have been inspired by you in my many years to try to grow some food. I really want to grow fruit trees.(I live in zone 7) I love citrus fruit and would really like to grow some I know they take a while to produce fruit but I still would like to start them so my grandchildren can benefit from them after I'm gone. I brought different types of seeds for the veggies and I am waiting for my perlite and peat moss to come so I can start them in the house. I would like to buy clippings of the fruit trees as the trees themselves are really out of my budget range. Can you suggest or do you sell the hardwood clippings from your trees? I did buy your seeds for the large leaf Kale I believe don't quote me on the name they where 11.99 They haven't arrived as of yet but I'm so excited to plant them. I love how you inspire us to grow our own food and how you take the time to really make people such as myself fill they can do this. Even at my age with no experience at all, totally a city girt woman and now granny. Thank you for all you do!!!
