  1. Squash Beetle – orange with black spots. Squash bug has an angular body and gray. You hvae a Squash Beetle. Kaye, you don't trim your tomatoes to a single leader with all that rain in TN? You have alot of progress in the garden! Looks great!

    idea,,,,, saw this in Asia,,,, growing terraces on slopes
    " between each farrow dig a shallow trench then from where the water will start to flow each shallow trench dam off at entrance letting in water until trench is full of water
    then dam off number 1 trench moving on to number 2 trench do h same to number 2as you did with number1
    the proceed down all the other trenches
    then your whole veggie garden will be watered automatic
    what think you?????Ed

  5. I hope you don't have an investatation of that infomas funnel web spider they are indegenious to AUSTRALIA and are deadly.But rarely kill .

  6. Okra grows great in hot humid SWFL. No issues with bugs or disease. Love pickled okra.

  7. until you get the mulch you want, lay newspapers out. prolly you can get a stash of those at your local recycler?

  9. The funnel shaped spider web is an indication of a poisonous spider. Take care. Here in Oregon it's a hobo spider. If you get bit I found honey works
