In Russia the winters are long and harsh. This is Siberia in 2022, alongside my family (sister and Gran) as we prepare for the cold winter in Siberia, Russia and enjoy the last few days of summer warmth. We head to my Auntie’s home in Kemerovo city, Russia to check out the vegetables and fruits she grew, alongside my Babushka, in her garden over the summer months and take them home to prepare, pickle and store for use over the long Russian winter. As things in Russia turn cold and the snow begins to fall, families have to freeze and find other methods to store food to eat throughout the Siberian freeze. Also in this video with my family, we head to the supermarket (grocery store) and across the city to run some errands and buy the supplies we need for winter 2022.

I live in Australia and only I've seen the snow covered expanses of Siberia from 35,000 feet on my visits to my homeland in Wales. I sit looking out the window and wonder what's happening below.
