In this Healthy Green Thumbs video, I share my insight into growing during the coronavirus outbreak, particular;y with ‘stay at home’ orders and ‘social distancing’ measures in place. Growing pre-grown plants, fast growing seeds, growing ‘less popular’ plants, and growing herbs to change up the flavor of our home-grown foods are all gardening measures we can take to help us during the coronavirus outbreak!

Very helpful advice Nurse Farmer. With your encouragement and education We just planted some veggies in our planter beds. Have been reading more on starting new plants from the actual vegetable ie. Cutting romaine at the root and putting that piece in water
and trying it with the root of the beet in water as well hoping they will form roots and we can transfer to dirt. Ang suggestions welcomed.
This is really interesting! Ty for sharing
Hi from the UK, over here, all the garden centres have been closed since the lock down. They have reopened now but me and my wife have been advised by the British Government not to go out for 12 weeks as we are in the at risk group.
So I have had to grow everything from seed this year. Not that it's a problem, I enjoy seed starting.
I always start my cues in pots because it's too cold over here until the end of May, so I like to give them a good start.
I hope you are staying safe, you must be getting exposed to covid 19 at work
Look after yourself.
All the best
Steve
