OMG I rememeber whenn the CTSO rallied in AZ. i was in FBLA and I was a state officer for the state boear of education there was only state officers there and for the kids HOA was so cool they had all these home made crafts it was so cool to see because there was competitions just like the CTSE I was in volved in

We were there at the worm composting class. As soon as we got home the kids went and made one from what they learned. It was our first time going to HOA and we will definitely be going again.
Have to laugh at the antique dishes. Literally washed some of that particular print today. Grandma has had them since the mid 70s, and only lost 1 or 2 pieces over the years!

My mother will have been gone 9 years this Xmas eve, we all reckon she chose that day so as not to be forgotten at Xmas lol. Myself and my grown-up children all still have things of hers that we use everyday, her saucepans for instance. Not the best looking saucepans, but priceless cos they were mums. So Becky, I know you are the type of girl who appreciates what you have, but savour these times with your mum. You will really appreciate how much your mum loves you when your baby arrives, and you look into that little face, and realise that you have never loved someone so much before.
You are both amazing. No anger, no blame. An experience which you both will remember because you were together. I also loved that your mom was all over the break in. With your pregnancy she is in full mom mode which is awesome.

Where do you get your aprons from?
My friend who flower farms uses small soil blocks with great success. I tried buying the medium for my plant starts this year. I waited a month later than usual, and it was a disaster! They sprout and grow WAY faster, so they really needed to go outside within one month, but it was too cold here. I spent HOURS making the blocks, and lost DOZENS of tomato, pepper, and flower plants. It DOES work, but you just have to be very sure of your timing to start the seeds!
I gotta say, I am so against Airbnbs for this reason. No service, no front desk , no staff, weird owners…give me a good hotel with 24 hour front desk any day. I am glad the owner got you sorted…eventually.

I watched this video a couple of times, once with my husband. We both laughed a lot at your Mom climbing up and down on the ladder trying to find a way in the cabin. Thank you for the belly laughs. We have had some adventures on our vacations too.

The owner should definitely leave a spare with the neighbors or get a rock hide a key and put it somewhere on the property. Poor guy i feel so bad he had to drive and hr.

Tip for women: You will USUALLY never get out of the car or house without your purse. Keep an extra car (and house) key in your purse. The one time you need it will save you a big headache and inconvenience.

I never thought I'd see your mom trying to break into a window 🤣
There's just one thing i wanted to mention because you talked about aluminum-free deodorant and other products… I've got some friends and relatives who work in the medical field and have done research on this, and it's simply not true that aluminum is in any way linked to Alzheimer's (or cancer either, as some sources claim) – neither through food nor cosmetics nor other body care products.
The reason this false rumor came up, was that somebody who claimed to have medical experience (but didn't) stated this thesis online where it just took off with people blindly trusting and not doing any actual research on the topic. Since then, there've been several studies done to find out if there's any truth to it. And, to this day, NO actual link has been found between aluminum and Alzheimer's (or cancer).
(It's basically the same thing that happened with fluoride in toothpaste. Which, I'm sure you as a dental hygienist know, is important to prevent cavities. Somebody didn't differentiate between fluoride and fluorine, which is toxic, and claimed fluoride was dangerous. And then tons of consumers bought the idea and requested for toothpaste to be produced without fluoride, so now many toothpaste companies do that, despite dentists recommending fluoride toothpaste.)
Unfortunately, the aluminum rumor has already spread so far that a big portion of consumers request products without it in them, so the producers are simply complying with demands. But, for example, antiperspirants need aluminum to work. Deodorants without aluminum will merely add scent to a person's sweat, and neither lessen the sweating nor take away the sweat smell.
Obviously, not using it won't harm you, you'll just smell a bit worse 😂so, by any means, if you prefer aluminum free deodorant, go for it… but, yeah. Just thought i'd let you know… medically, scientifically, based on actual professional medical research… aluminum in deodorant and food products is not dangerous and not linked to causing Alzheimer's.
