  1. I just took my seeds out for fall planting, I start my seeds the end of August and plant them by mid September

  2. I hadn’t even thought of spinach and I love canned spinach! Actually fresh or any other kind is good. Need to see if I have seeds and get some either way. Getting more things in the ground and starting seeds this week. Can’t wait to see how your raised bed turning greenhouse does!

  3. We just prepped our tiny garden plot today! Do you know of a place to get a truck bed full of soil instead of buying bags of it? We are composting but that’s not quite ready yet. Thanks so much for making these videos!

  4. Hey John Three 16- I have some questions. Many have not even read the whole chapter. Have you?

  5. Sorry,I had to stop at 2:38 because I noticed all of your iron skillets hanging, I have always loved using iron skillets and I still have mine from my great grandmother but I can't keep them out because no matter how many times I have told my kids how to use them they will not grease and will not clean them right so they start to mess up so I just put them away but you are right we are in some president times and I wished I had learned sewing and gardening from my grandmother but I didn't pick it up but I did pick up cooking from her so I do know how to make homemade gravies and biscuits etc. God Bless you and your family in this time, I live in Pittsburg Texas.

  6. Its funny you were talking about seed banks being out. I looked on mine Patriot supply. They are totally out. Good thing I have two year supply.

  7. I just tilled up another 12 x12 plot. I planted some sweet corn there. I pulled up my cucumbers and ground cherries and refreshed that bed. I plan to try another round of green beans since my first round didn’t produce. I have broccoli and cauliflower seeds to start too. I’m so glad that I found you’re channel since we are so close. Thank you for taking the time to help us newer gardeners.

  8. I also buy seed from Willhite Seeds. They are Texas based so I love supporting my local businesses, and I've had lots of great success with their seed. They have also been around for many many years.

  9. Sure is a good video. Last week I put some cucumber, cabbage and squash seeds in the ground. Put some tomatoes, carrots and reddish in container. Maybe I can get something for this fall. Fertilize all plants Friday then sprayed plants with miracle grow Saturday. My tomatoes just didn't do good this year. Pepper did ok. Had to pull up cucumber, squash and cabbage the heat killed them. I think I'm going to get started earlier next year on pepper seeds. Going to change garden up next year. Going to do less pepper plants. I think I got around 60 pepper plants I can't keep up with eating that many peppers. The ghost pepper and Carolina reaper is too hot. Got some rain Friday afternoon but didn't last long. Hope your garden is doing good. Have a great day.

  10. I have tomato plants still growing. They have a few flowers, but I know it's to hot to set. They are six foot tall. Can I keep them growing. Will they produce in the fall or do I need to start over.

  11. Thank you for this information, Today I purchased some red lettuce, cauliflower, and cabbage seedlings. I put the cauliflower and cabbage seedlings in my raised bed, should I take them out? It’s still pretty hot in Prosper.
