🌳🌺🌳 This is as easy as it gets when it comes to a color punch container for summer. ‘Heart Throb’ pinky-red hydrangeas from @southernlivingplantcollection and a flat of golden moneywort to spill over the sides. Great color contrast and super easy combo. Vibrant color to stand up to our strong summer sun. On the porch or by the pool? Where would you place this cheery pot!?

  1. The beautiful plants made a beautiful plantar. Love the red color. How long will you leave both of the hydrangeas in the container? Will they become crowded?

  2. Love this! I’ve been trying to find this Heartthrob hydrangea, but it’s not available anywhere! 😔 Please give us an update on this one later. Thank you, Linda! 🙌💚🌺

  3. Got my very first ever hydrangeas this spring. I put them in pots. Love your idea of adding creeping Jenny. Will have to purchase some for my pots.

  4. I can’t do red but love Hydrangeas & Creeping Jenny. What a great combo! I’d love it if I could plant two of these flanking my patio door without having to winter over inside in zone 5b, what types of Hydrangea would work for that? I am so done with annuals in planters.

  7. Linda, that is spectacular! I love it….. what do you do with that during the winter time? I live in a zone 5 where it freezes. Could I leave the plants in there ?

  8. I love hydrangeas and creeping Jenny in pots. The bloom on that one is beautiful❤️

  9. My hydrangeas have turned color way early and the heads I cut to dry shriveled to nothing. The ones on the plants now are changed color. Afraid to take them now.
