    Did all this last week but the ripining is still too slow. I'm going to remove all my remaining tomatoes and put them in paper bags to speed things up. I need to get things moving. Were only a week or two from frost here.

    Thanks Ivan, for great advice on getting the best from end of season tomatoes. You could also add some banana skins near the plants as they emit ethylene gas when they decompose which aids tomatoes ripening. Take care and all the best. Stevie
