On this episode, we clean up an old timers vegetable garden, fruit trees & paths around the garden. Since the old boy passed away, his garden beds have become neglected and very overgrown. His widow is one of our regular customers, and we were happy to help her clean it all up. Everything removed was at the request of the owner, the job took us around 6 hours to complete, and we took out around 1.5 trailers worth of green waste and rubbish. Worker in this episode: Nick.
Workers on this job: George (long pants) & Nick (shorts).

FAQ’s:
Q: Do you worry about snakes?
A: I have never even seen a snake in 4 years on the job.
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia 🦘🦘🦘.
Q: Which equipment do you use?
A: We use mostly STIHL power equipment (battery and petrol) and commercial Honda self-propelled mowers.
Q: How much do the jobs cost?
A: Sorry, I prefer not to talk about costs!
Q: What happened to Nick?
A: Nick was offered a full-time position at his other job as a Political admin!
Q: Why don’t you use tarps instead of cans?
A: Tarps are too difficult to move through small spaces and lift into the trailer. The same for wheelbarrows, they are only good for unloading the trailer!
Q: Why are the hot water cylinders outside?
A: I’m not really sure to be honest, maybe something to do with space & maintenance, but either way, it really is poor heat efficiency!
Q: Why are you cutting so close to your employee!
A: I’m not cutting too close to my workers, they are standing too close to where I am working! All of my workers have been told numerous times about standing too close to the tools and about the hazards involved!
Q: Why do your workers do all the lifting and carrying?
A: Basically, they are employed to carry things and I pay them well to do the job required.
Q: You work so well together, how do you do it?
A: That’s the magic of editing. My workers are basically given instructions on what to do, I just edit it all out, so the videos look seamless!

Limpeza espetácular parabéns !! Que pais é esse ?
Eu sou do Brasil 🇧🇷
Buen trabajo y rápido
Amazing job.😊
Great clean up, but it sure did hurt to see the medicinals go in the trash, especially the opium lettuce. It is a shame that all the previous work was allowed to be wasted. Hopefully it will be a fresh start.
Amazing work ! Up here in Canada we don't have this growth problem
Congrats. It mas a mess..and the owners made a mess back there.
She could rent out spaces to people who donot have a garden, or give free and receive veggies for cost of water 👍
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
All that needed now was new black plastic over the beds to keep the weeds down before the next gardener moved there. I would've thought I'd died and gone to heaven if I'd moved into that property and found that garden there.
Good job working as a team guys. Big job
I love watching you guys work! But it kills me seeing how many trips you have to make to the truck with that tiny trash can. Put a bunch on a tarp and drag it to the truck. Less trips! Time saved!
👏👏👏👏🌹♥️
Really impressive. Great work!
🇬🇧🤩 yous make it look so easy..🤗
That was a lot of work. Good job but please only cut branches of trees or bushes at the junctions or near buds so that tree or bush can heal properly. Don't leave bare branches sticking out. Proper pruning works very well.
My goodness, what a change! Brilliant job guys 😄
I hated to see the grape vine go! It added so much life! I was glad to see the old rose bush and apple trees stay. Wonder what it will look like next year? You certainly let the sun shine in!!! Great job!
I would have loved to see that vegetable and fruit garden in its heyday. The melancholy music was a perfect ending to this video! Y’all did a great job!
I'm sure you had your reasons, but I never would've damaged fruit barriers like such. 😉 I have trouble cutting grass.
its amazing to see how much more space you made!!
Some job! 👍
Cleaning & disposal takes twice more time than trimming, cutting & shredding
Regular monitoring is required to prevent such weed growth hampering the vegetable quality & quantity
felicitaciones quedó hermoso.
My heart sank watching the fruit trees, grape vines and roses get cut, but they will regenerate. The garden was in desperate need of TLC and it looked great when you were finished. Was there someone still living there at the home that just couldn't tend to the garden any more?
What a difference guys..
BRASIL
I'm sure there was a time when he was very proud of his garden. And kept it very well. We do all of that when we are young enough and then forget to start backing off as we can no longer take care of it. So very hard to give up. Aging is very unkind. And we all miss being able to what we could 20 years earlier.
I cant believe that you cut the entire grape vine down, That takes YEARS to grow that big. So sad.
💞
Oh! My God!
Un lavorone!
Love watching. Greatest and cleanest show. What about using tarps to help with the clean-up. Just saying
