  1. This was the BEST video that a new Gardener here in Florida NEED to watch! I wished I knew this 3 years ago😭💸

  2. Great advice for us northern gardeners that have transitioned to the tropics. Retraining our brain to think like a Floridian. Love the video.

  3. I have beautiful bigger sized tomatoes growing at the moment that are starting to put on fruit. Im thinking of building a net of some sort to at least try and keep the pests off so i can get a good little harvest from them. I started them a while ago not thinking it was gonna get this hot out lol

  4. In Florida: Tomatoes are a winter crop, Tomatoes are a winter crop, TOMATOES ARE A WINTER CROP!! Start in fall after the equinox. Have them potted or planted by late November/mid December. Mine started fruiting between Early February and now. Harvest is around spring equinox for central and probably south Florida. They grow fantastic. Plant local tropical plants for summer that can take the heat.

  5. Great video! Love the camera angles, especially the one behind the plant! You’re so creative! Do you water every other day when starting from seed too or just with transplants?

  6. My first mistake was not knowing my seasons here in central Florida. The pest pressure is so realllllll. I learned the hard way that "full sun" does not apply to Florida

  7. Born and raised in New England , now living in Central Florida this video is so helpful I can’t wait till your next one comes out!!

  8. Great advice. I am growing Everglades tomatoes for the first time, and they are so much happier than all those others😉 Worried about the cold snap coming, and how to save all my “warm” weather crops!

  9. I don't like hot peppers though. And haven't found any sweet peppers that actually taste good.
