In this tutorial we will be creating a beautiful oriental pendant using a polymer clay transfer, a Cernit Metallics skinner blend mica shift and the ever popular watercolor technique.

I’ll be showing you a different bail and stringing technique in this one, so be sure to watch to the end.

  1. As you said, a little bit different! Brilliant tutorial where you remember to include every tip there is, without leaving us (me!) with a load of questions. Thank you Samantha!

  2. You are a very talented artist with a sweet voice and demeanor. You just gained another follower. Well done!

  3. Samantha just wondering why you didn't use liquid clay on sides before you spread the soft clay on the baked piece? Was it because the ad did raw clay was just a very thin smear?

  4. Hi Jess! Once again the Japanese garden pedant is beauteous! Also, luv the new rat tail cording…. very nice finish to a perfect pendant. One question…. how large is the cord ( 1 – 2 mm) , how large is the hole in the metal spacer bead? Thanx so much for all your hard work! 👍🥰😍

  5. Beautiful!! I don't have a transfer paper so I did it with stamps. I made about 20 pieces of magnets. My dad's a stamp collector and I donated them to them. ❤️😆

  6. I love this one in particular! Absolutely beautiful & I can hardly wait until you can start shipping to USA so I can order your stamps. Please make an announcement when that time arrives. Thank you.

  7. A suggestion for trimming the mica shift, (learned from Cindy Lietz) put the clay on a bottle or similar curved surface. It is easier to trim a narrow strip at a time, less chance of gouging.

  8. The one with pink watercolor looks like a Japanese cherry blossom! Love it!

  9. Samantha, this is absolutely gorgeous. Even without the transfer, it's perfect.Your talent & creativity never ceases to amaze.

  10. These are as beautiful as they were when I first saw them. Thank you for reminding me…with so many lovely creations, sometimes it is hard to remember the best!😊
