This is so awesome. Brings back memories from growing up – my grandparents lived down on FL and their neighbor had a huge starfruit tree- would get to pick a ton of em anytime we went down to visit.

It would be great to be in a salad.
Is it sour star fruit? If it’s sour star fruit, I’ll cook it with fish

It can be a coincidence that so many things in nature look like vulva’s or penises right? That has to have a reason. Right??

What’s the best way to eat this? I’ve been trying to like it, but not working. It looks delish and I really wanna like it haha.

Two more days til they’re perfect. I like mine yellowish-orange with a decent green tip on the edges.
Harvest, cut off the green from the 5 edges, cut off the top and bottom, then slice and enjoy!

Love starfruit! My parents’ home has a tree and they are good to eat in wraps with meat!

IMHO still far to green to eat. There much better in a darker yellow or orange color. Closer to orange the sweeter n easier to eat they are. Love this fruit 🙏🏻🔥⚒️🧙🏼♂️
