Local library to host writing sessions

FORTVILLE — “Shut Up & Write!” is a new program coming up at Vernon Township Public Library.

At the free writing sessions at 6:15 p.m. Wednesdays, writers show up and write alongside each other.

There’s no critique and no one reads your work; you just show up and write.

“Show up enough times and people start saving you a seat. The words start adding up too,” library staff stated through a social media post.

The program runs Oct. 7-Dec. 16 at the library, 625 E. Broadway St., Fortville.
