The vast majority of it is between 1 in and 2-in diameter mixture of grape Vines, wild Rose, And honeysuckle… Maximum diameter would probably be 3 in.
I understand if forestry mulcher would definitely be much better, but also completely out of the price range ballpark even for renting.

At best I think you spend longer than you expected wrestling harder than you planned. But if you can’t get a little skid and a 72″, it should get through. If you’re renting for the weekend, ask the rental company what they allow for max diameter and go from there. Happy hogging!
For stuff like this I use my clearing saw with a three point mulching blade. Those curved mulching blades are super dangerous but very effective
Honest answer: it’ll handle the tender stuff but choke on 3-inch stems, and those grape vines will wrap around the gearbox. I’ve had luck cutting, letting it dry, then going slow with multiple passes. Way easier on the equipment than fighting it wet.
