Wausau Pilot & Review
WAUSAU, Wis. — The North Central Wisconsin Master Gardeners Association (NCWMGA) invites community members to attend its upcoming educational program, Garden to Market, on Monday, March 16, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
The program will be held in the Community Room at NorthStar Restoration Services, 4900 W. Stewart Avenue, Wausau.
Featured speaker Trevor Frank, Crop and Field Operations Program Director and Garden to Market Specialist Faculty at Northcentral Technical College, will share insights on how home gardeners and small-scale growers can successfully transition from backyard production to selling at local markets. His presentation will cover practical considerations such as crop planning, production efficiency, and key steps to preparing products for market.
The program is designed for gardeners of all experience levels who are interested in learning more about growing with purpose and exploring opportunities within local food systems.
NCWMGA is committed to educating and engaging the community in research-based horticulture practices. Educational meetings are open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to come with questions and a curiosity for learning.
