A woman has been arrested after four people were stabbed in central London, police say.
Paramedics rushed to Covent Garden, a busy area popular with visitors, about 12.30pm (9.30pm AEST) on Wednesday.

“We sent an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance,” a London Ambulance Service Spokesperson said in a statement.
“We treated four patients at the scene and took them all to a major trauma centre as a priority by road”.
The Metropolitan Police has yet to provide further details about the incident on Endell Street.
