Need help being positive about these berries. Looks like raspberries (or not yet darkened blackberries lol), meets a lot of the criteria, but I’d love second and third opinions before I go picking in the backyard. Thanks everyone!
Raspberry indeed. If they were blackberries they would already be turning black. The ripe ones should basically fall off the vine into your hand

I agree raspberries. if they don’t slip off the vine easily, they aren’t ready to pick yet 🙂

My guess is unripe black raspberries – delicious little things, I wish I had some in my yard!

At first glance I thought they were wild strawberries, but I agree they look to be raspberries. Enjoy and where are all you people who just stumble upon these amazing plants? I live in the plains area want a bush that isn’t very nice? I have seen the perfect one. We do have a lot of cactus though, so easy to propagate.

I’d wait to pick just a bit to see if it’s Rubus occidentalis, which are raspberries but will turn black when ripe. The white stem makes me think it is
