I just got this strawberry plant on a whim with a grocery delivery. What is the plant growing with it? I thought it was dill, but it doesn’t smell like dill. (Also, any tips for strawberry care appreciated. I live in a condo with a balcony that gets full sun, in Atlanta. I also have the sunroom, where it is now.)

Solved, thanks for the help!

    Probably native Eupatorium capilifolium.

yeah that tall feathery thing looks like a weed that snuck in, just yank it out so the strawberries arent competing for space

I agree just pull that out, not anything edible, as for strawberry care tips I’ve only ever grown in ground but I see the beautiful hanging baskets at Home Depot and Lowe’s and the grocery stores so they’re great candidates for containers I’d suggest moving it to your balcony so it is out where it can get polinated by bees and the such, other than that, like any other plants water when top inch or so of soil is dry and mild fertilizer biweekly and you should be good!

Looks a lot like cosmos. Pretty when planted en masse
