Texas-based homebuilder LGI Homes Inc. last month announced the grand opening of a new townhome community in Arlington in Snohomish County.
Allen Townhomes will have 36 lots at full build-out, offering townhomes starting in the $530,000s. Floor plans feature open-concept layouts and attached one-car garages. The two-bedroom Berlin floor plan includes a first-floor flex room, and the three-bedroom Cyrus floor plan includes a first-floor guest suite and larger laundry room. The community’s information center is at 8919 172nd Ave. NE, LGI said in a news release.
“We are excited at the opportunity to expand our presence north of Seattle with the opening of Allen Townhomes,” Zachary Penrod, vice president of sales for LGI in the Pacific Northwest, said in the release, adding that LGI is introducing its CompleteHome Plus package with interest rate buy-downs and builder closing cost contributions available.
The CompleteHome Plus package includes quartz countertops, Whirlpool stainless-steel appliances, modern flooring, designer lighting, wood cabinetry with crown molding, and elevated finishes included in the sales price. The community will include an HOA-maintained exterior and yard care, plus open green spaces, a community playground, picnic areas, and park benches.
“We expect strong demand for this community,” Penrod said. “It’s tucked away yet conveniently located to everything Snohomish County has to offer.”
LGI, headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas, has announced two other new-home communities in the Puget Sound region this year: Meadow Brook in Puyallup, and Eldorado in Bremerton. Both are offering single-family homes starting in the $500,000s. Eldorado is LGI’s largest community to date in the Seattle area, featuring 491 homesites.
LGI said it focuses on entry-level homebuyers, offering affordable homes in attractive locations. Through its Terrata Homes brand, it also builds homes for the luxury market. Since launching in 2003, LGI has built and sold more than 80,000 homes.
The company operated in 36 markets in 21 states as of Dec. 31. It reported 4,788 home closings last year and $1.7 billion in revenue.
