Ashampstead is preparing to welcome visitors and families alike as 12 of its finest private village gardens open to the public next weekend.
On Sunday, June 7, the private gardens will throw open their gates, offering a rare glimpse into a stunning variety of local horticultural displays.
Alongside the trail of 12 village gardens, visitors can enjoy a selection of teas and cakes, shop at a rare plant stall, and hunt for clues in the treasure hunt.
Adding to the seasonal atmosphere, live jazz music will also be a feature of the afternoon.
The event is being held in aid of two community causes, with all proceeds raised going directly to the village playground and the Ashampstead Recreational Trust.
The garden trail will run from 2pm to 5pm, with the entry point located at the village hall on Church Lane (RG8 8SH).
Admission is priced at £10 for adults, while children under 16 can enter for free.
Organisers have noted that no dogs are allowed at the event.
