Garden beds can look sloppy, messy or unattractive just because you haven’t defined the edge well enough.

I’ve created a free Flower Bed Clarity Guide to help you understand why some flower beds feel calm, intentional, and beautiful — while others feel random, cluttered, or difficult to maintain. Feel free to download it here: https://gardeneducation.guru/

  1. I would rather spend one day at Yosemite or Yellowstone or Denali, then have a prepaid month at Disneyland where a guy sitting at a desk‘designed’ to collect my ‘enjoyment dollars’. My wife wants organized gardening. I want food and pollination instead of pretty flowers and symmetry.

  2. Most people should probably use a boarder considering they plant almost all non native and invasive plants these days.
