I'm fairly new to the cactus world, and this was my 1st one. Yesterday morning, I went out to find it wasn't in it's pot. Apparently, one of my dogs got it, though it was afternoon when my husband finally found it. Dogs are fine, so no idea who did it, but my cactus is not! 😠Is there any way it will survive this? If so, how do I care for it? I'm guessing the wounds make it susceptible to pests as well?

Stick it in a small pot with mostly grit (in a safe place) and just leave it alone for a while. It’s gonna be totally fine 🙂
