    Mullein (*Verbascum thapsus*).

I’ve used the leaves as toilet paper while camping before.

Would remove Mullein if it is in your yard, it spreads EVERYWHERE. Invasive in USA.

Mullien. An invasive plant from Europe. Somewhat aggressive. I recommend removing it.

Definitely Mullen. Very good to have around. I dry it and put it in when brewing coffee.
Also if you have a sprain wrap green leaf around it fast healing. That’s a first year Mullen. 2nd year it will get a stalk in the middle and flower.

  6. Mullein mullein mullein mullein (to tune of Jolene)

Also helps to relieve gout, as a tea or make a tea and soak feet in it

    # One Day When We Went Walking

One day when we went walking

    I found a dragon’s tooth,

    A dreadful dragon’s tooth.

    “A locust thorn,” said Ruth.

One day when we went walking,

    I found a brownie’s shoe,

    A brownie’s button shoe.

“A dry pea pod,” said Sue.

One day when we went walking,

    I found a mermaid’s fan,

    A merry mermaid’s fan.

    “A scallop shell,” said Dan.

One day when we went walking,

    I found a fairy’s dress,

    A fairy’s flannel dress.

    “A mullein leaf,” said Bess.

Next time that I go walking-

    Unless I meet an elf,

    A funny, friendly elf-

    I’m going by myself!
