B&M has introduced fresh garden décor across its stores, featuring a £20 ornament that adds “character and regal charm” to outdoor areas. The high street retailer describes the stone-effect statue as ‘impressive’ and highlights that it also fulfils a functional role in gardens by lighting up patios and pathways with its solar-powered illumination.
The Solar Powered Lion Head is stocked in all B&M branches during spring and summer. Completely cable-free, this statue-style decoration is described as perfect for any garden spot requiring extra lighting once darkness falls.
The rechargeable battery powers up during daylight hours when exposed to sunlight and automatically produces a cool white glow as evening approaches.
The £20 B&M lion-shaped ‘statue’ measures 45cm in height, features a stone-like appearance, and is manufactured from weather-resistant resin.
In its online product description, B&M wrote: “Add character and regal charm to your outdoor space with this lion solar statue. This solar light ornament is perfect for borders or patios. A fun ornament during the day and a solar light at night.”

The lion statue theme seems to be in demand with Wilko, B&Q as well as online retailers all offering varying statues of the regal big cat for garden displays.
Lion ornaments have long been heralded as symbols of security with their protective stance said to help ward off negative energies – and this is the reason people position them outside of their homes.
B&M also stocks an extensive selection of garden solar lights at budget-friendly prices, offered in numerous styles to complement any outdoor environment, from traditional designs to more unusual choices, reports the Express.

For those looking to ‘unwind’ with an outdoor seating option, the Bali Reversible Rattan Effect Corner Sofa Set has also been reduced (down from £250 to £125). Meanwhile, the Santorini Hanging Egg Chair has been slashed to £75 from its original £150 price tag.
