Visiting my mum, she said she’s had some problems with her fern (unsure of the exact type). Taking a closer look I could see a lot of black and white dots on the leaves, also the floor/chair beneath (as well as the leaves) felt very sticky.
I suspect some kind of bug infestation? It’s a close neighbour to a large spider plant which doesn’t seem affected at all.
It’s in a bright east facing room (with skylights) with at least ~10 hours of light. It’s watered every few weeks once top layer of soil has dried out.
Does it need a thorough neem oil bath? 😬
