Tomato hornworm! He’ll be a beautiful hawk moth soon

In the closeup it’s eating just like a dog!

Great. I hope it isn’t breeding. Those things can wipe out a tomato plant and all of its tomatoes in a few days. I learned that with much sadness.
I couldn’t find anything eating the tomatoes. Those things would hide along the plants stem or under a leaf.
I looked it up, found that the moth they turn into isn’t exactly the prettiest belle of the ball, but it was a pollinator. I learned that I can, ick, pick them off of the tomato plants and do wjatever ti them unless they are carrying the white eggs in their backs. Then I should let them live… somewhere else.
The white things of some kind of wasp that is kiling the green critter naturally and the wasps will continue to hunt the green buggers. Fortunately I am not doing tomatoes this year.
