I’ve had this little guy for a few months now, got at Publix and he’s in a soil of potting soil, perlite, and orchid mix. I saw that they prefer their dirt chunky so any advice on that is wonderful. I’m still very new to this.
But because I’m new, I completely drowned my first plant(a coleus) and gave it root rot. I don’t know what healthy roots look like. Do these seem healthy or am I watering too much again?
He’s clearly not drooping and he’s been putting out a few new leaves so nothing is visibly wrong. I’m just worried about being a bit too heavy handed with my watering.
