If you want advice, plants or other garden accessories, the Lincoln Trail Area Master Gardener Plant Fair on Saturday is the place to go.
The Plant Fair, which is in its 27th year, is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hardin County Extension Service, said Amy Aldenderfer, county extension agent for horticulture and Master Gardener program coordinator.

“This plant fair is a one-day event where garden and garden-adjacent vendors come together to sell their wares,” Aldenderfer said. “It is the premier, first and oldest, plant fair in the state hosted by the Lincoln Trail Area Master Gardener Association.”
The event will have 52 vendors: Five information booths, seven food vendors and 40 selling plant and garden products.
“The garden-adjacent vendors include metal sculptures, birdhouses, wind chimes, glass décor, wood art, earthworms, seeds, concrete sculptures, wooden benches and so much more,” Aldenderfer said. “We try to promote local greenhouses and small vendors that may not have another outlet for their wares. It’s a fun day to browse and see what’s new and available for purchase.”

Master Gardeners also will be at the event to answer any and all questions one may have about gardening, Aldenderfer said.
Food vendors will be set up outside during the plant fair.
“I love to see all the new and returning vendors. I also get to see people that come every year and to meet new and excited gardeners,” Aldenderfer said.
