  2. I have a peony that continues to self seed. I transplanted the babies into other beds and they are thriving. It will take 3 years to get flowers so I'm not sure which variety it is. Also. a lot of annual flowers will self seed if you let them. I always have zinnias to fill in the gaps. Morning glory climbers easily self seed. Cosmos will grow anywhere!

  3. Your garden is stunning! I can tell you love it! I have loved the garden since I was 2. Now I’m 72. My very best plant sources are ladies who were my Mom’s friends. And you get free plants! My #1 favorite is globe thistle. The lady who always did arrangements for church used them. So I begged and she invited me over to dig one up. I was not prepared for how big it got. 5 feet tall and clump gets 3-4 feet wide. Super hardy, bees LOVE it. Not invasive but extremely hardy with deep tap roots. I live in Montana so it’s a joy to find something so pretty and hardy. 2 – Another lady gave me white anemone. Shade tolerarant, it’s on the north side of the house next to the front door. Does well with columbine. 3 – daylilly of course. Stronger than any weed including dandelions. 4 – perennial sweet pea. Sadly not fragrant but every farm around here has one and they are so striking and showy. 5 – Cranesbill super hardy, so lovely, does seed easily. It’s also native to my area. Lastly Harrison yellow rose, also known as yellow rose of Texas. It was a favorite of my moms and we had a huge one in our front yard. The thorns are awful so they are more to admire than pick. You can just leave them after planting and so hardy! Not for a small yard. Candytuft loves this climate surprisingly. So lovely and deep green after spring flush of white flowers. Holly hocks do amazing here. Sorry this got so long! Talk to local gardening enthusiasts! ❤️

  4. I'm kinda new to perennials, but some of your beds seem a little crowded. Is it a good idea to continue to let the seeds drop? Isn't it pretty high maintenance?

  5. Thanks Stephanie for this video its very informative I tent to pick law my new seedlings thinking they are weeds …use to have a abundance of black eyes Susan and now they are mostly gone and many others God bless you!!

  6. Beautiful garden love your outfit and there is a reason we were the gatherers and the men were the hunters. They don’t see details like we do. They would have poisoned us all
    lol

  7. Another great reason to leave the seed pods is for wildlife. Once your flowers turn to seed, you’ll get some lovely, appreciative birds in your garden.

  8. If you leave the clover it doesn't hurt anything. It fixes the nitrogen in soil. I always leave them myself and find them beneficial. Dandelions too. I companion plant those with my tomatoes and have zero problem with blossom end rot. One man weed is another's flower.

  9. any tips for me? I have a space in the garden we're there are a lot of weeds, I'm trying to pull them out, is there any preparation I should do to plant the perennials?

  10. Thank you for sharing your Beautiful garden and you also have a Beautiful home great ti see the plants reseed and bloom time and time again greeting to you and yours from the west of Ireland

  11. Hello! What a gorgeous yard with so many various plants! I like your explanations and all of the various perennials that you showcase. You reminded me of which ones I want to purchase.
You are lucky to have such a huge space to play in and beautify!

  12. I planted nasturtium seeds 20 years ago. They came back every year. They bloom almost year around here in California.

  13. Showing the difference between the Columbine vs clover leaf is exactly why I love following you! Thanks for showing. us the new leaf vs a weed next to it. 🙂

  14. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for NOT having those annoying, unremoveable, gigantic and distracting KARAOKE-STYLE captions that SO many garden video have.

  15. What are the red double echinacea you have they are sooooo pretty!! You should collect some of the seeds and sell them- i can't find doubles anywhere lol 😂❤
