We recently brought a new house that has a handful of these silly columns scattered about the property. They seem to be solid concrete wrapped in PVC (with rocks from the property inexplicably balanced on across the tops). We think these are super dumb, but the prices we were quoted to remove them are even dumber. Any ideas on what if anything can be done to embrace their continued existence (any suggestions for how to make these look less dumb without paying many monies for a man with a heavy machinery to tear them down)?

If they all look roughly the same as this one, you have the makings of an outdoor Greek theatre program.

It’s called a folly. A classical garden element from the older days.

Change the white columns color to match the stones. Ultimately they’re a spiders dream come true for web building.

i would paint the pillars a color similar to the stone so they dont stand out as much

Have to figure out the puzzle but there’s probably a Korok hiding out somewhere around it!

These are awesome! If you get rid of them you go straight to jail.

First of all they’re not useless columns cos they’re definitely bearing the weight of that rock secondly I think you should try to get as much of the PVC from the columns as possible then find some creepers and plant them, should look totally green and lush in a few weeks
