  1. We have I think the Chinese wisteria as the cluster are much longer and that thing is a beast it grows everywhere and attaches to everything it got a fungus one year and we clipped it down all the way to the roots and it came back just as strong.

I used to collect the flowers just to hang on the walls.

  2. I've watched your videos for a while. And I'm still very curious what the heck is that piercing on your nose called? Please answer my autistic question

  3. I asked my dad one day as a little girl to try and get me some wild wisteria growing on the side of the road and he managed to get a little vine. We planted it near a tree as we didn't know if it would survive. Over 15 years later and that little vine is a MASSIVE wisteria vine that uses the tree to climb but not smother it. Its entire body is wrapped around the tree with a THICK woody base and its honestly impressive how such a small little vine grew to be as tall as a tree. Again, it isnt spreading to smother the tree or to other places. It literally is the only one spot and it only spiraled around the base of the tree because we helped it to grow that way to avoid getting in the way of mowing.

  5. Thanks! I was sad when I learned it is poisonous because I love the smell and wanted to eat the flowers. now I know I can❣️

  6. We have a lot of Chinese wysteria, specifically on a gazebo thing in town, and in my backyard growing on my house.

  7. I don't trust myself enough to eat just the flowers. Sometimes I accidentally eat the wrapper or napkin when I'm eating candy bars or cheeseburgers. Something's wrong with my hand-eye-mouth coordination 😅

  8. Language barriers made me dumb I guess Xd. I literally just realized that wisteria isn’t some exotic and foreign plant to my country and it’s literally the almost just as common different colored sibling of the plant I grew up around. To be fair I’ve never seen an up-close non animated picture of what english refers to as ,,wisteria”.

  9. so fucking excited to learn that i’m gonna be able to have native, non-aggressive wisteria in my garden eventually. its my favorite flower.

  10. I once had several Wisteria plants about 3 feet high, the seed pods i collected and disposed of, but i found it had made a run under the cement driveway, to the back yard. About 12 feet on an angle. It was planted for the nitrogen! Never knew the amazing smelling flowers were edible!
