Over 100 species on less than 1/10th of an acre


It‘s plant sale season, so I decided to take inventory of all the species we have and their bloom times so I can fill in any gaps. I was shocked to realize we now have over 100 different native species on our small lot – compared to less than 10 that were here when we moved in ‘23! Pretty proud of our little habitat

  • Philadelphia Fleabane
  • Canada Anemone
  • Hairy Beardtongue
  • Big Bluestem and Wild Strawberry
  • Columbine
  • Woodland Stonecrop and Woodland Phlox
  • More stonecrop, Hay-scented Fern, and Royal Feen
  • MONARCH EGGS!!!!
  • Species lists
