Harmony Grove is a lovely pure native mulberry cultivar that is quite tasty if you want to add another fruit that’s also native. Texas mulberry is good too.

Very cool! The way you’ve made your beds is very striking also.

I keep putting out into the world my desire for a *Prunus mexicana* (Mexican Plum) but I’m still just tending my desire 😅 want one for their ecosystem benefits but also bc they’re non-suckering & take a tree-form & it’s said they’re the tastiest wild type/native plum. TBD! Have you explored our native edibles much at all?

Keep going, I’m glad you’ve joined us in planting native!
