Going low mow for a few years is really starting to pay off, I got all of these flowers for free just by creating the right habitat for them! (South of France for any comments about invasive/native)

Starting to find the right balance, without mowing at all the grass chokes everything else out, mowing a few times a year at strategic moments is allowing the wildflowers to break out and proliferate while keeping the undergrowth under control. Particularly pleased with the big patch of daisies that I've created purely by not cutting or pulling them out and letting them spread.
