I made the mistake of potting this in a little big pot for it and the mix wasn’t airy enough and held some moisture and it got roots rot. took it out and repotted it in a smaller pot. I’m misting it with a sprayer few times a day. Next to a humidifier. It’s struggling and I’m worried. Any word of wisdom is appreciate it.

stop misting. misting bad. misting sets up for fungus and bacteria, doesn’t help the plant at all, in ANY way. quite the opposite, as you’re rapidly and constantly changing the immediate environment like a yo-yo.
if you want to up the humidity, place it in a humid environment where the actual RH is what you manipulate, NOT the surface of a leaf.

The root system is too small for its current leaves to survive. It’s just gonna keep losing moisture through the leaves and will eventually die off without a root system to take in water.
What you gotta do now is cut off all the rotted roots, wash it up, cut off all the old leaves, latest leaf (large one) cut 2/3 of it away, chuck it in perlite and spag and into a humidity dome. And pray.
This reduces moisture loss via the stomata, with the half leaf still able to photosynthesize for the plant.
