Please help me understand how this can be better? My buckets will be clogged in a day or three if I did this.

Love this. My backyard is big with various plants all over and only one spigot for the whole thing, we already have a bunch of buckets over by the raised beds, this could be a cool system

I’ve been pondering something like this as a time-saver. Strategicly placed buckets that can be hose-filled quickly and drained slowly.
Soaker hoses eventually get brittle and/or clogged. This could last. If there’s a push-in to connect fitting out there that’d be better for off-season storage of the buckets.

Im confused, why wouldn’t you just use a standard drip line system?

You could add a lid to prevent clogs. Don’t know if a vacuum might be a problem but you could just avoid sealing it tight.

    Looks like a good idea.

I know times are tough, but there are easier ways to get protein than to breed mosquitoes.

    It’s handy and practical.
Just add a mosquito dunk in each bucket and you’re good.

It works better on top of 2 other buckets.. to give it some pressure. I experimented with it last year.. prepping for an off grid system. Works for up to 50 ft. Can’t guarantee further than that though.
