Hello guys I bought the house and that group of trees look a bit funky to me. Should I keep only the middle bigger part? Is cuting the smaller ones will kill the tree? I'm a bit loss on the next step over here.

I would keep em all. if they are connected you’re just opening up yourself to disease.
Bonus they look cool and you could do some fun things with Halloween and Christmas lights
Yup, one tree. And if at one point it was multiple organisms then they’re fused together now.
Is it not leafing out as much as it should be in your area? Could be in decline. I couldn’t begin to say why though.
Might be an amur maple…?? They’re often grown in clumps like this.
