Anyone successful with propagating?

I’ve been trying to propagate my FLFs for at least 8 weeks now and have had no success. I have one with no leaves on them and others with gigantic leaves still on as demonstrated in these photos. I used a root hormone initially before putting it in water. I’ve had no success. Should I give up by now,
