My peace lily is sad and not sure why. Ive had this plant for many years and no issues. I’ve recently repotted in February. Water it once a week. I thought maybe it needed more water due to the drooping leaves so I gave it an extra small amount watering in the middle of the week for the past two weeks.Yet it is still the same. Any ideas what could be going wrong?

After killing several peace lilies with kindness and extra water, also called overwatering, causing root rot, I learned some of the secrets and now I have a thriving peace lily, happily ensconched with 30 (never overwatered) other plants.
1. That pot looks like it doesn’t have drainage holes. You have to have drainage holes for every single plant.
2. Pot is too big for that size plant. Therefore the soil is holding too much water, especially if it doesn’t have drainage holes.
3. Never use Tap water on peace lilies, they do not like chlorine or fluoride or chloramines. Fixes:
Repot it into a smaller pot just slightly bigger than the root ball. Use a clear plastic pot with drainage holes and then place that potted plant in your decorator pot sitting it on top of small rocks in the bottom of the decorator pot to allow drainage and aeration
Inspect the roots if there are any that are dark brown/ black and mushy, cut them away. Soak the remaining roots in a solution of half and half hydrogen peroxide in water for 3 to 4 minutes.
Move it away from the window. Peace lilies like full shade. Do a Google search on peace lily care. You’ll learn a lot from that
Good luck. Peace!
Improve your soil. Add a lot more pearlite for drainage and to allow oxygen.
Do not pack the new pot dirt real hard. The roots will need oxygen
Cut away all the damaged and dying leaves
Don’t water it on a schedule. Water it ONLY when it needs water… IDEALLY JUST BEFORE IT DROOPS …and then soak it until water runs out the bottom. Use a moisture meter plus insert a wooden chopstick into the soil to see if the soil is still damp. Learn to gauge it’s need for water by the weight of the pot. The more dry it gets the lighter it’ll be and you want to get it just before it droops…. because drooping stresses the plant. Waiting till it droops is like never checking or adding oil to your car until it starts knocking.

Lowkey looks like its thirsty, peace lilies are super dramatic when they need water lol 😅
😂 peace lilies are such over dramatic divas.
They droop when they’re thirsty and don’t get water the second they want it. Just give her some and she’ll be back to her normal self later that day. If the leaves start turning yellow, too much water.
I just had to replant a bigger one I’ve had for probably five years because of root rot. Had someone else taking care of my plants and it obviously isn’t going great..
