First time using the All American Sharpener on my new Honda which has the 2 blade setup. Was hoping it would work on them and turns out both have bevels within the jigs range. Used 35 and 45 degrees.
Had an extra set that is new so sharpened those and put them on and sharpened the old ones for quicker change later.
Anyone else use jigs/holders and a grinder?

I didnt read the headline at first and I thought “what fucking maniac attached a lawn mower blade to a grinder to mow their law with it?!”
>Anyone else use jigs/holders
Nope, I free hand it. I don’t even have a workbench to do it on…
I’d be worried about wrist problems with that clock on your hand.
Man, I just use a flat file. You don’t need them samurai sharp lol
I made my own to rebevel damaged blades on my 12” disc sander. But considered jig for quick sharpenings

jig? all you need is a flap wheel
The all American sharpener company sells a jig for the Honda 2 blade system. I know because I bought it. I sharpen my whole families lawn mower blades every summer.
No

I use the all American jig too. That thing rocks.
Woah. What watch is that? Thing is huge lol

The lengths this community goes to in order to get the perfect lawn is incredible. It inspires me to care more, to do better. I thought I did good just buying a new blade this year lol. Looks good OP, you’re gonna be moving like a hot knife thru butter.
