I have had lots of strawberries grow on this plant, but all of them are only half ripening. The big berry pictured has looked like that for 3 weeks now. Does it normally take a super long time for them to ripen? Or should I snip off the berry and let the plant put energy toward other things?

I wonder if this isn’t one of those pink strawberry plants? Mine are albion and they don’t look like that at all
Has the pink spread at all? I’ve noticed that if I see pink on a berry I can expect it to start turning red within a week on my plants. I’m not sure the exact variety, but I do know I have an ever bearing type. One especially big berry did take about a week and a half for the pink to spread from the tip of the berry to the top. Have you fertilized at all?
