We planted a 2 meter sukari date palm tree in our garden about 90 days ago. It made new roots now so i’m already thankfull for that but also these little new sprouts are coming out now just below the crown. I’d like some advice of what to do with this. Do i wait and cut them off later or do they need to be cut now so the tree focusses more on the growth in the centre?
Can they also be saved to plant them later elsewhere? I have no experience with these.

Also my gardener told me to wait to remove the string and cloth that keeps it together on top and wait it out for 1 more month before cutting the dead leaves around. Is this good advice? I feel like the tree is trapped like this and has no freedom to spread and grow its leaves fully.

Also the weather is getting hot 35-40 degrees celsius, we live between green trees buts its artificially planted and outside this community its all desert. We live in the Middle East

Any tips are welcome 🙏🏻 and please ask if i forgot something to mention.
