Just wanted to share this overkill controller I cooked up. I wanted the ability to deep water and syringe on different days, for instance, for 2 zones I can now deep water every 5 days and syringe everyday multiple times an afternoon if I want to.

Not understanding…why can’t a 2-output controller be set for several times a day?

A very specialized system involving the wiring

Sounds like you just needed a better controller. An orbit b hive could’ve done this easily.

Unrelated and maybe I’m wrong for recommending this but I think you should get maybe a short links of hose so that you don’t have that weight hanging off of your spigot.

I’ve been the creator of plenty of jank, and this jank is the jankiest jank that ever janked.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to get a proper manifold and not run it off of your hose bib?

I just use a bunch of Rachio Smart Timers…one hose for each timer. I can run multiple schedules on each timer.

I switched from the Melnor ones to bee hive. I have 4 bee hives going for my front and back and they allow you so much more control and it’s way way easier to program from your phone.

Oh I see. You solved a software problem with plumbing that probably cost about the same as a hose end controller with appropriate software. Probably more fun than perusing instruction manuals to find the right one. r/lawncare is about the journey, not a destination!

Looks good. What does the lawn look like?

Hope you got a water hammer arrestor at some point there or you’ll be hearing the bang bang of that timer in short order.
