Hi All,
Pulled this up in the yard near my fence earlier today. I tried to ID it with Google Lens and it came up with both Westringia and some other native (Tick Bush). I've got Westringia nearby so I'm thinking it's likely that. Located in Melbourne.
I'm hoping to rescue it to later replant as long as it's not a weed so any help would be great.
Cheers.

Looks like a melaleuca of some kind, but hard to tell at this size.
It’s got a bit of a pimelia longifolia vibe but hard to say
Crush some of the leaves to see what the smell is like.
If it’s a westringia it’s probably not going to survive being bare rooted IME.
The tap root looks a little fleshy for a woody native seedling of this size, but admit I can’t put a finger on what it might be other than maybe a lechanaultia
My vote is westringia too
