That toxic white sap is a latex. All white sap is. But this one is strong and you will react to its sap if you have latex allergy or cross allergy (like banana or avocado!)

I just got my first blossom for the season today! Probably my favorite plant in the garden.
I have the very same one and I love it! It’s a magnificent tree, beautiful flowers, it blocks the sunlight on summer and during fall all the leaves and flowers fall down so the sunlight can go through it. Though I’ve seen the salmon one and it’s definitely gorgeous if you ask me.
