I don't know if it is a wildflower or not but they do great in my area and I am curious if I could grow them in my yard.

Stands up to dogs peeing on it very well.

    This looks like flax, Linum usitatissimum. The blooms seem to be withered.

    Agree that this is a blue-flowered Linum. You need details of the stamens and stigma to know which one it is; it could be native (e.g. Linum lewisii) or introduced

    Prairie Flax (also in CO and there’s lots in my yard)

    Never knew flax was so pretty when flowering. Also looks like the plants are pretty interesting. I’ll have to look and see if it’s native near me.
